  1. What are Music-Infused Paint Parties?
    At Peace Arts Paint Parties are a perfect collision between an art class and a fun party (with a DJ)! No painting experience is needed! We will guide & paint with you step-by-step on how to recreate the featured painting for that session. While you will learn how to create a masterPEACE you’ll be proud of, the focus is on letting go, having fun and enjoying a night out that you won’t soon forget. Feeling adventurous!?!  GREAT!  Add your own personal touches to the featured painting or paint something completely different!  Then prepare to step back from your masterPEACE, beaming with pride and say, “I DID THAT!” 

  2. Where do you host these Music-Infused Paint Parties?
    We bring our art studio to YOU! We are completely mobile. Host your party at YOUR location (home, school, work, restaurant, online etc.) for an amazingly unforgettable time!

    Yes we do ONLINE virtual Paint Parties too! We ship out Paint Party kits to each participant so that they are ready to party from WHEREVER they are while we are all online together! (If in the continental U.S., but contact us if not)  These virtual parties even include our DJ AL!

  3. How much does it cost?

  4. Is there a minumum or maximum number of people for a Music-Infused Paint Party?
    There is a minimum of 10 people or a payment equivalent, if less. We have done couple’s nights where it is just 2 people for those events. They had a GREAT time with just the two of them… and us. We have done paint parties with over 100 people before! Let’s get in touch about your event!

  5. What is included in the price?
    We provide: 11” x 14″ canvas (or depending on what you chose to paint on), Paint, Brushes, Easels, Paint Palette Plates, Napkins, Water cups and Aprons. Instruction by Kyia, and Music by DJ Al. We even clean up after we are done!

    You provide: Location, Food, Drinks, Tables, Chairs, Plastic Table Coverings, Floor Coverings (if carpet or needed).

  6. It comes with a DJ? YES! A whole heap of studies out in the world confirm that 
    music helps us increase our creativity AND relax while 
    creating. DJ AL has been a DJ, Music Producer, Audio Engineer, and Musician for over
    30 years! Al sets the vibe all while mixing clean versions of your favorite jams from today and the classics! We’re also a husband and wife team of over 20 years, so we know each other really well!  He knows the entire party process and flow. Hosts who have had the     music-infused experience love DJ AL!

  7. How long is a Music-Infused Paint Party?
    Depending on the painting, most parties run 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We do offer a number of party options at 1.5 hours.

  8. How do I host a Music-Infused Paint Party?
    You can contact us and tell us about your event then we’ll get in contact to go over the process and answer any questions you may have. You can: 1. Decide whether you want to pay for the whole party yourself OR, 2: You can decide to send out an invite email that we send to you to send to your guests that contains a payment link where everyone can pay for themselves! So you don’t have to worry about collecting money from everyone. All payments are based on the “per person” rate either way. Nice & Easy! We also keep in touch with you periodically before the party to let you know who has signed up and paid so that you are sure of who is attending. By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages from At Peace Arts related to your booking and inquiries. Reply STOP to any of those messages to opt out at any time.

  9. What is your payment schedule and cancellation policy?
    Host/ Hostess: Final payment, cancellation or modifications for private, host/hostess held events are due no less than 2 weeks prior to the scheduled party date that was set during time of booking and no less than 30 days for organizations. There are no refunds after that time and modifications after this date are at discretion of At Peace Arts. All business with paint parties are between the host or organization and At Peace Arts and all Paint Party balances are the responsibility of the host or the organization. We offer the choice of providing the host with a payment link for their guests to pay for themselves towards that final balance as a convenience. The event host remains financially responsible for the full invoice amount, regardless of individual guest participation or cancellations. If a guest is unable to attend, refunds will be issued only with host approval, and only if the overall 10-person minimum commitment (or full payment if after the final payment deadline) is still met.

    *For virtual/hybrid Paint Parties Please NOTE: No refunds will be given if your virtual paint party materials have already been shipped.

  10. Is your site secure for online payments?
    YES! Our credit card processing offers online payment options that are secure, fast, easy and will guarantee that your registration is processed immediately. In the event that you have any difficulty paying online, please contact us at 855-355-ARTS or hello@atpeacearts.com and we will process your credit card over the phone.

  11. What events work well with Music-Infused Paint Parties?

    We have done MANY different type of events: Birthday Parties, Date Nights, Corporate Events, Fundraisers, Kid’s Parties, Team Building Events, Community Activities, Residential Building Programming, Bachelorette Parties, Anniversary Parties, Holiday Parties, Bridal Showers, Reunions, and much more! 

  12. What time do I need to arrive for an event?
    Please arrive 15 minutes before painting time.  We do start the class ON TIME. 

  13. What should I wear to sessions?
    Wear something you feel comfortable in. We supply aprons for protection against the water-based acrylic paint that is used. When the paints dry they will not wash out of fabric easily.  Wear something you don’t mind getting a spot of paint on, just in case.

  14. May I bring a non-painting guest to class to watch me while I paint?
    No, sorry. This is a “hands-on” activity.

    ***Other important information:
    During the session, we will take photos, including a group photo/ screenshot at the end of the party. These may be used on At Peace Arts’ social media sites. If you do not want your picture taken for these purposes, please let us know. Your privacy is important to us.  Please take lots of pictures and share them on your social media.  Share them with #atpeacearts so that we can see them too!
